A short bio…
This is a continuation of Pierre’s “Cool and Free Dobro” collaborations as a duo with Bassists which began in 2010. He first played with Bruce Harvey at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, KS in 2004. Last year they played as a duo in the Ozarks and enjoy the free association derived from years of varied experience in decades of performing in numerous musical genres.
Pierre is a regular member of Bluegrass and Blues Bands and performs on the side with other bands in France. He has led several resonator guitar workshops in Europe and is the Coordinator of the La Roche Bluegrass Workshop at the La Roche Bluegrass International Festival.
Bruce currently plays with Uncut Dawg, (a newgrass trio), Muzaic (ethnic tradjazz) and with local Old Time musicians keeping alive the Old Time Fiddling tradition. He and his wife host the Ozark Acoustic Roots Society at the coffee shop they operate in Anderson, MO.
